Great effort from the lads again this evening against an excellent Castlebar Celtic squad. We defended extremely well throughout and it wasn't until the 31st minute that Celtic finally broke the deadlock with a really classy goal it must be said. The next few minutes would be crucial and unfortunately a deflected strike on 35 minutes put us two behind. An unfortunate own goal just before half time put the game beyond us. The lads continued to work hard but unfortunately couldn't break down the Celtic defence. The game finished 4-0 which is of course disappointing but there won't be many harder fixtures this season and the lads are showing massive signs of improvement each week. 

Next weekend the lads are at home to Conn Rangers FC for our first home Super League game of 2025. Fixture details to be confirmed in due course. All support would be appreciated in what is another important game to kick start our season.
